Compare comedy podcasts by the named show, host role and subject—not just the comedian’s name. A creator may host one podcast, guest on another and maintain a separate personal account. Those relationships create different listening routes and access conditions.

Cat Ce, Jessimae Peluso and Sami Blumenthal provide useful public examples.

Cat Ce: a creator-hosted interview project

The Cat Jam in the Car website names Cat Ce as host and describes conversations with guests from comedy, acting, filmmaking and other fields.

That is a specific public project to explore if you are interested in guest interviews and the host’s conversational style. It is separate from the personal account attributed by the platform.

A guest’s profession can describe the topic of an episode without turning the podcast into a course in that profession.

Jessimae Peluso: a stated subject around loss and comedy

Peluso’s biography describes Dying Laughing as conversations about loss combined with comedy. Her own link page separates podcast, video, tour, fan-club, charitable and personal-account routes.

The subject description can help a listener decide whether to inspect an episode. It does not establish individual counseling or mean a fan subscription is a charitable contribution.

The useful comparison with Cat Ce’s project is the stated subject and project identity, not a claim that either show is more personal or better.

Sami Blumenthal: a guest appearance

The publisher’s Tammy’s Boy episode page identifies Blumenthal as a guest in an August 2026 episode and provides chapters across a long conversation.

A chapter list can help you select a starting point, but we did not listen to the whole episode here. Guest status also matters: the host’s bonus-content promotion belongs to that show, not automatically to the guest’s personal account.

For a fan who wants to hear more from one guest, the next step may be that person’s own attributed links rather than subscribing to an unrelated bonus feed.

Public descriptions were checked on 30 September 2026. No full listening, private feed or paid account was tested. Our audio-versus-video comparison covers the separate choice of listening format and access.
