Check a creator directory's own publisher and affiliation disclosures. Using “OnlyFans” in a page title or linking to an OnlyFans profile does not by itself show that OnlyFans operates or endorses the directory.
OnlyDetect's About page states that it is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by OnlyFans.
Four connections that mean different things
Scroll across the table on smaller screens.
| Connection | What it means |
|---|---|
| A directory links to a public profile | It provides an outbound destination |
| A creator submits or corrects a listing | They may be improving that record |
| A commercial relationship is disclosed | There is a stated business connection |
| A platform officially identifies a service as its own | There is first-party evidence of operation |
Do not substitute one connection for another. A creator correcting their biography does not prove that they endorse the directory's editorial opinions. A valid outbound link does not establish a partnership between the websites.
Check the publisher before following its conclusions
Find the site's About page, methodology, and contact or correction process. Read the words rather than relying on the logo design or a familiar color scheme.
If the site claims a partnership, look for a corresponding statement from the named partner. If no supporting statement is available, record the claim as unverified.
OnlyDetect's methodology describes its public-data sources and limits. It does not claim access to private feeds or paid media.
Keep independence separate from accuracy
An independent directory can provide useful discovery tools, but each material claim still needs evidence. An official publisher can also present a biography or promotion without providing an independent review of paid quality.
Ask what the source actually knows. Can it support the current handle, the offer observed on a date, or the quality of an experience someone personally tested? These are separate levels of evidence.
Use directory comparison for a broader evaluation and review literacy for claims about value.
If an OnlyDetect listing is inaccurate, use Report. If you need account or billing support on OnlyFans, use that platform's own support route. Independence also means the directory cannot act as the platform's account-support team.
